Delete Row
Delete Row is used to delete selected single or multiple attribute records from the attribute table of a vector dataset or a tabular dataset.
When using Delete Row to remove attribute records from a vector dataset's attribute table, the corresponding geometries will also be deleted. Use the Delete Row button with caution.
The Delete Row option is only available when the vector dataset or tabular dataset is not in read-only mode.
Feature Entry
- Table tab -> Edit -> Delete Row button.
- Table window context menu -> Delete Row button.
Steps
Open the attribute table where you need to delete rows. Select one or multiple attribute records from the vector dataset's attribute table or tabular dataset, or select cells in the target rows, then perform either of the following operations:
- Click the Table tab -> Edit -> Delete Row button to execute the delete operation.
- Right-click and select the Delete Row option to execute the delete operation.
Add Row
The Add Row option is used to add new attribute records to a tabular dataset.

Add Row is only available when the current tabular dataset is not in read-only mode.
Feature Entry
- Table tab -> Edit -> Add Row button.
- Table window context menu -> Add Row button.
Steps
Open the tabular dataset where you need to add rows, then perform either of the following operations:
- Click the Table tab -> Edit -> Add Row button to append a new empty attribute record at the end of the current tabular dataset.
- Right-click and select the Add Row option to execute the add operation.
