Attribute Table Copy and Paste
Feature Description
The Feature and paste function of the attribute table allows copying or pasting attribute records from multiple cells or entire rows/columns. It supports copying selected cell contents to documents like Word, Excel, or Text files. Additionally, content from external files such as Word, Excel, or Text can be copied and pasted into the attribute table.
Copy and paste operations in the attribute table can be performed in the following ways:
- Copy and Paste Multiple Cells: Select multiple cells in the attribute table, right-click and choose the Copy option or press Ctrl + C to copy cell values. Right-click the target cell and select Paste or press Ctrl + V to paste the values.
- Copy Entire Rows/Columns: Select entire rows or columns, right-click and choose Copy or press Ctrl + C. Select the target row/column, right-click and choose Paste or press Ctrl + V to replicate the records.
- Copy to External Documents: Select cells in the attribute table, copy using Copy or Ctrl + C, then paste directly into Word, Excel, or Text files.
- Paste from External Files: Copy content from external files (Word/Excel/Text) using Copy or Ctrl + C, then paste into selected target cells in the attribute table using Paste or Ctrl + V.

- Copy and paste operations only apply to editable non-binary fields. Pasting into system fields is prohibited.
- If copied content exceeds the target field's value range, length, or data type requirements, pasting will fail and original values will be preserved.
- Pasting starts from the top-left selected cell in the attribute table.
