View S-102
SuperMap iDesktopX supports importing *.h5 data compliant with S-102 specifications into file database, database datasource (PostGIS or DMPlus) or EMS datasource. Note that the datasource for importing S-102 data cannot be read-only.
Operation Instructions
- Open or create a datasource in workspace to store *.h5 files.
- Select the target datasource for importing nautical chart data, choose Import Nautical Chart Data->S-102 from context menu; Alternatively, select the target datasource, go to Start Tab->Data Processing group->Data Import dropdown->Chart->select S-102.
- In Import Nautical Chart Data dialog, select one or multiple S-102 *.h5 files, click Open.
- After file selection, the S-102 dialog will list selected files with following configurable parameters:
- Source file: Displays imported *.h5 filename (non-editable).
- Source data: Shows path of imported chart data (non-editable).
- Remove noise points: When checked, noise points in source data will be removed after importing *.h5 data.
- Confidence value: Enable this checkbox for import.
- Target datasource: Shows target datasource name, allows switching to other datasources in current workspace via dropdown.
- After configuring parameters, click Import button to complete S-102 chart data import. Data will display as raster data under corresponding datasource in workspace manager.
Browse Bathymetric Surface Data
After importing S-102 files as raster datasets, click or Shift-select multiple raster datasets, then choose Add to New Map or Add to Current Map from context menu to quickly view bathymetric surface data.
Configure Depth color and Contour in Depth Settings of Nautical Chart Properties to adjust display colors in map.

The file path for importing data must not contain Chinese characters.
