Recognize Feature
Feature Description
The Recognize Feature function enables identification of feature objects in nautical charts loaded into the map. Through click operations, you can quickly view the attributes of features.
Steps
- Load a chart group that complies with S-57 or CJ-57 standards into the map.
- Enter the Chart Tab -> Location Search group -> Click the Recognize Feature button. The mouse cursor will switch to identification mode.
- Click on feature objects in the chart for identification. Multiple features from different datasets may be selected.
- The Properties panel on the right displays the selected feature's dataset at the top. You can manually switch between selections.
- The lower section of the Properties panel shows feature details including:
- Object Info: Displays basic info and attributes of the feature.
- Reference Object: Shows reference object information for the selected feature.
- Nodes: Presents node coordinates and object information.
- For editable chart groups, double-click attribute value cells to modify content. Read-only chart groups only support viewing.
