Manager Entity

SuperMap iDesktopX provides the graph manager and entity properties panel functionalities in the Knowledge Graph tab -> Manage group for managing the created entities and relationships.

Graph Manager

Check the graph manager checkbox, and the graph manager will be displayed in the lower-left corner of the window. The graph manager provides two pages, "graph database" and "graph layer", to display entity and relationship information.

1. The "graph database" page of the graph manager displays the list of all entity types and relationship types stored in the graph database.

You can use the select objects context menu to: ① Add to new map window; ② Add to current map window; ③ Add to new map window (currently only supports entities from spatial data and stored in the Yukon database); ④ Add to current map (currently only supports entities from spatial data and stored in the Yukon database); ⑤ Delete.

Note: Adding entities/relationships to the map means entities with spatial attributes and relationships can be displayed as map layers. Entities retain their original spatial geometry type in the map, while relationships are displayed as directed line layers. After adding entities to the map, you can right-click in the graph window -> "Apply to Map" to highlight the corresponding entities, thereby linking the knowledge graph to the map.

2. The "graph layer" page of the graph manager can be considered as the legend of the current graph window. It allows unified control over the visibility of entities; you can batch select all entities of a certain legend for batch modification of graph styles; and you can use the locate button in front of an entity to locate the target entity in the graph window.

Entity Attributes

Check the entity attributes checkbox to pop up the entity properties panel, which displays the attributes of the entity.

It also provides a label field to change the field used for showing labels in the graph window.
