Import EDB
Feature Description
SuperMap iDesktopX supports the migration of data produced by the Clearwater Hill GIS EPS platform. After migration, the data can be directly added to the map using the original data style. To use this feature, you need to configure the data migration extension package. For detailed configuration instructions, please refer to the Environment Configuration page.
Feature Entry
- Data Migration Tab -> EPS Data Migration Group -> EPS Data Import.
Parameter Description
- Select File: Choose the EDB file to be migrated.
- DataSource: The destination data source for the migrated data. You can choose an existing data source or create a new data source.
- Import as Simple Dataset: Check this option to import the data as a simple dataset, including point, line, face, text, attribute, composite line, and composite face datasets.

Importing EDB data requires the corresponding *.edt template file. It is recommended to place the corresponding template file in the program installation package directory support\DataMigrationToolseps\Templates before migration. If the template file is not found in this path, you will need to manually specify the template file during the migration process.
