The Data group on the Scene tab and the Context Menu for the Normal Layer and Terrain Layer in Layer Manager organize the ability to add various data to the scene.
At present, Data that can be added to the scene includes 2D Vertor Data Set, Image Dataset, Raster Dataset, Image Data, Terrain Data, Model, KML Data, Pictures, 3D Tiles and Online Services. Support for Vector Dataset in Add to Scene includes: Point, Line, Surface, Text Dataset, Network Dataset, and Route Dataset.
Add 2D Vertor Dataset, Image Dataset, Raster Dataset to the scene by simply dragging and dropping the corresponding Dataset from Workspace Manager to the scene. Adding other types of data to the scene is done through the appropriate buttons and panels.
Dataset can Add to Scene the window as long as its range is within "Top = 90, Bottom = -90, Left = -180, Right = 180".
The function of that controls in the Data group of the Scenario tab are as follow:
Add related functions for Normal Layer and Terrain Layer Context Menu data in Layer Manager as follows:
Open the iServer service layer
Open the iServer service scenario Terrain Layer
- When you add a Raster Dataset
- to the scene, you are prompted with a dialog box to confirm whether the Raster Dataset is loaded into the scene as Terrain Data or Image Data. When adding multiple Raster Datasets, you can load them into the scene in a unified way by checking "Perform this operation for datasets".
- When the Text Dataset Add to Scene, the Text Style of the Text Dataset is used by default, that is, the Text Dataset is displayed in a certain style in the 2D map, and it is still the same style when it is loaded into the 3D Scene.
- When too large Image Data is loaded into the scene, a prompt dialog box will pop up, suggesting that it should be loaded Create Image Pyramid. When loading multiple Image Datasets, if the user checks "Perform this operation for datasets" ", all Image Datasets with large memory added at this time will be Create Image Pyramid and loaded into the scene.
