some pages, you can apply a master page for them. Add or edit components in the masterPage, the changes will be synchronized to the corresponding pages, which can reduce the workload of repetitive dashboard construction and improve the efficiency.

Multiple pages introduction

Add new page

Click 'Add new page' in the left Pages panel to create a new page by the following ways:

  • Empty Page: Create a empty page to start page edition.
  • Add from Templates: Create new pages based on a template. Select a template from the industry application template list, it will create pages consistent with the pages in selected template.
  • Add from Applications: Create new pages based on a existing dashboard application. Dashboard applications contain 'Public Dashboards' and 'My Dashboards'.  'Public Dashboards' contains all applications that have editable permissions, see Setting permissions, including the application that you and others have shared. 'My Dashboards' contains the application you created earlier.

When you select 'Add from Templates' or 'Add From Applications', if the selected template or application is multi-pages, all pages and masterPages in it will be added to the Pages list and Master Pages list.

In addition, you can add the same template or application repeatedly in current  dashboard application.

Page settings

Click the blank position of the MapDashboard and then the page settings panel will be displayed in the right sidebar. You can set the current page as follows:

  • Title: The title of current page.
  • Background Settings: The background style of current page.
  • Panel: The background color of the current page.
  • Gradient: Whether to turn on the gradient effect. You can choose the direction of the gradient effect if it is turned on, and gradient color is related to the background color of components.
  • Background Image: The background image of components. You can directly select the built-in image materials of the dashboard as the background or add a custom background image in two ways, which are entering the image address and uploading the image. You can also set the image repeating effect.
  • Components: Unified styles setting of components in the current page.
  • Theme Style: Set the theme color style for all components in current page. You can select preset color style, or add a custom color style at the bottom of the list. Please note: Switching color style will automatically change the color settings of all added components in the MapDashboard for the consistency of overall color style of the MapDashboard. Therefore, the color settings for a single component will be invalid.
  • Background Color: The background color of components in current page.
  • Font Color: The font color of components in current page.
  • FullScreen Button: The color and background color of fullScreen button in current page.
  • Animation: Entry Animation and exit Animation, supporting to set the animation type, animation direction, animation duration and delay.

Switch page

Add interactive events to Text, Icon, and Image components to switch pages with mouse click. Unlike the Dashboard Switch component in Tools Components, the page switching function implemented through component interactive events is used to switch pages in the current dashboard application. The Dashboard Switch component is used to switch applications between different dashboard applications, see Dashboard Switch.

Add interactive event

Create a Text, Icon or Image component on the page and select it. Then add trigger 'Click' in the 'Interaction' tab page on the right panel. Lastly, click 'Add operation' and select target page in the drop-down menu, click 'OK' to complete the addition.

Add entry and exit animation

 Click a page in the Pages list, set page's entry animation and exit animation in the right Background Settings panel.

Page management

Set home page

In the Pages list, click next to a page to set it as the home page. When viewing the current dashboard application, this page will be displayed first. Click to preview the effect of the home page setting.

Rename

In the Pages list, click next to the page and choose 'Rename' to modify the page name.

Delete page

In the Pages list, click next to the page and choose 'Delete' to delete the current page. If there is only one page in the current dashboard application, the last page cannot be deleted.

MasterPage introduction

Add masterPage

Click 'Add new masterPage' in the left Pages panel to create a new masterPage by the following ways. It allows you to create multiple masterPages.

  • Empty Page: Create a empty masterPage to start masterPage edition.
  • Add from Templates: Create a new masterPages based on a template. Select a template from the industry application template list, it will create masterPages consistent with the masterPages in selected template.

When you select 'Add from Templates' or 'Add From Applications', if there are masterPages in the selected template or application, all masterPages will be added to the Master Pages list after confirmation. If there is no masterPage, it will add the only page (for single-page template or application) or the first page (for multi-pages template or application) as the masterPage to the current dashboard application after confirmation. if the selected template or application is multi-pages, all pages and masterPages in it will be added to the Pages list and Master Pages list. In addition, you can add masterPages in same template or application repeatedly in current  dashboard application.

Apply masterPage

Apply masterPage in all pages

In Master Pages list, Click  next to the masterPage to Apply it in all pages. It should be noted that applying the masterPage to all pages will lost masterPage settings of all pages, so please proceed with care.

Apply masterPage to a especial page

It support to apply different masterPages in different pages. In the Pages list, click  and 'Apply Master' successively next to the page, then select a masterPage to apply it.

Cancle apply masterPage

Click  next to the page in Pages list and click 'Apply Master' > 'Cancel Apply Master' successively to cancel the masterPage of the current page.

MasterPage management

Rename

In Master Pages list, click next to the masterPage and choose 'Rename' to modify the masterPage name.

Delete masterPage

In Master Pages list, click next to the masterPage and choose 'Delete' to delete the current masterPage. Pages that have previously applied this masterPage will switch to a state that no masterPage has been applied.
