Change Dataset

Instructions for use

Supports re-specifying the associated Datasource or Dataset for the current layer or map, which can be specified in batches. Batch assignment is often used to re-assign Datasets under different Datasources when the same Map Template is imported from different Workspaces.

Function entrance

  • Workspace Manager-> has Map Context Menu-> Change Dataset.
  • Layer Manager-> Select one or more DatasetContext Menu-> Change Dataset.
  • MapContext Menu->Change Dataset

Operating instructions

  1. Click the Change Dataset option in the Context Menu of the layer for which Change Dataset is required in Layer Manager (multiple layers can be selected with Shift or Ctrl);
  2. On the Change Dataset dialog, you can select a single layer to set the re-associated Dataset individually, or select multiple layers for Uniform Settings.
    • When Resecify Associated Data to a certain layer in the map alone, click the Drop-down Button on the right side of the Datasource in the corresponding layer line, and select the Datasource where the Dataset to be specified is located. If the Datasource contains the same name as the Dataset corresponding to the layer, the Relation will be automatically selected. Otherwise, you need to Select the Dataset manually.
    • When Reassign Datasource to multiple layers, select multiple layers and click the Uniform Settings button. Complete the Uniform SettingsDatasource Operation on the popup Uniform Settings dialog.
  3. Click the OK button to complete the setting of the Resecify Associated Data.
Caution:

When multiple layers need to be assigned to the Dataset in the same Datasource, only the Dataset of one layer needs to be assigned, and the program will automatically match the associated Dataset of other layers.

When the Absolute of Workspace and Datasource changes, only one Dataset needs to be specified, and the other Dataset and Datasource will be matched automatically;
