The symbol library grouping structure, that is, the logical storage structure of the symbol library. See Logical storage structure of symbol library .
Next, we will introduce how to manage the grouping structure of the symbol library through the interactive operation of the interface. The following operations take the Marker Symbol Library as an example to introduce how to manage the symbol grouping in the selector. The same method can be used for the Line Symbol Library and the Fill Symbol Library. The management of the grouping structure of the symbol library is completed in the corresponding symbol manager.
In the selector, the symbol grouping structure tree is the area for symbol logical grouping management. You can control whether the symbol grouping structure tree in the selector is displayed through the "Grouping Structure" button in the selector.
In the selector, the interactive operation of managing symbol grouping provided by the symbol grouping structure tree is basically based on the Context Menu of the tree node to realize the management operation of symbol grouping.

Change the logical storage position of the symbol
Change the logical storage position of the symbol, that is, change the group where the symbol is located. This change only changes the logical storage position of the symbol, and does not change the symbol number of the symbol in the whole symbol library.
- In the point symbol list of the point symbol manager, select the symbol whose path needs to be changed. You can use the Ctrl key to select multiple symbols at the same time;
- Right click on any selected symbol, and select Move To in the pop-up Context Menu;
The Move To submenu lists the grouping hierarchy of the current Marker Symbol Library logical management organization and correspondingly expresses this grouping hierarchy in the form of menus and submenus.
- Select the symbol group where the selected symbol is stored to move the symbol from the current path to the specified Target Path.
Change symbol packet structures
Here, the symbol grouping merging operation is mainly performed, that is, a certain symbol grouping together with its symbol grouping structure and the symbols therein are moved to other symbol groupings.
- In the Symbol Grouping Structure Tree, right-click a symbol grouping node to be moved;
- In the pop-up Context Menu, select Merge To;
The Merge To submenu lists the grouping hierarchy of the current Marker Symbol Library logical management organization and correspondingly expresses the grouping hierarchy in the form of menus and submenus.

If the name of the merged point symbol grouping is the same as the name of another sub-symbol grouping under the merged destination symbol grouping, the system automatically changes the name of the merged symbol grouping.
In addition, in the symbol grouping structure tree, the path of a certain symbol grouping can be changed by dragging, that is, the operation of merging symbol groupings is implemented:
- Select a symbol grouping node to be moved in the Symbol Grouping Structure Tree;
- On the selected symbol grouping node, hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse;
- Determine the target symbol grouping to which the selected symbol grouping is merged, and release the left mouse button at the target symbol grouping node to implement the symbol grouping merging operation. The selected symbol grouping is moved to the target symbol grouping along with its symbol grouping structure and the symbols therein.
