Usage
In the list on the right side of the "Make Thematic Map" function interface, options other than "Default" are based on existing 3D Unique Value Map templates. These allow for quickly creating a 3D Unique Value Map with template styles for 3D layers of vector dataset types, excluding text datasets and model datasets.
Procedure
- Set the 3D layer of a vector dataset type (excluding 3D layers of text dataset or model dataset types) for which you want to create a 3D Unique Value Map as the current layer.
- Click the "Thematic Map" button in the "Data" group on the "Scene" tab of the ribbon.
- In the right area of the popped-up "Make Thematic Map" function interface, select the desired thematic map template to apply the styles from the template and generate the 3D Unique Value Map.
- The created 3D Unique Value Map is automatically added to the current scene as a thematic layer. Simultaneously, a corresponding child node will be added under the "Normal Layers" node in the Layer Manager for the newly created thematic map.
- Both system-provided and user-defined thematic map templates will appear in the right area of the "Make Thematic Map" function interface. They can be managed uniformly through the Template Manager. Please refer to: "Template Management".
Notes
After using a "Template" to create a Unique Value Map, the "3D Unique Value Map" window will also pop up. This window displays the settings information used to create the current thematic map, which users can modify. Therefore, users can modify the Unique Value Map created based on a template to achieve a more ideal 3D Unique Value Map.
