Model Layer Properties

Instructions for use

Select The Model layer (Model Dataest) as the current layer in the Layer Manager, and open the Model Parameter Setting control in the Layer Properties "panel. You can change the visualization of the model in the scene by adjusting parameters such as Line Frame Mode, Color, Gradient Colors, and so on.

Note : Adjusting the parameters only changes the rendering of the model in the current scene, not the Model Data itself or its materials.

Function entrance

Layer Manager-> Select a model layer-> Right click-> Select "Layer Properties" in the Context Menu to pop up the "Layer Properties" panel-> Model Settings module.

Parameter Description

Model

  1. LODScale Factor: The scaling factor for the switching distance between different levels of the model LOD.
  2. Line Frame Mode: The wire frame type of Set Model can be selected, including "Triangle" and "Quadrilateral" modes. Refer to Model Display Mode for details .

Color

Set Model displays the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and gamma values of a color. Where gamma is used for Controls the mid-tone gray scale brightness values of the image.

Gradient Colors

The Gradient Colors method visually displays the spatial distribution of data by using different colors to identify data with different height ranges. See the Gradient Colors Representation/Color Table for more information.

  • Display Mode: Set the Gradient Colors effect Display Mode, including No Display, Line Fill, Face Fill, Line and Face Fill.
  • Line Color: When Display Mode is Line Fill or Line and Face Fill, set the line color by pulling down the color panel.
  • Color table: Choose the color table through the drop-down menu, or open the Color Scheme Editor through the right button to customize the color table. See the Color Table Settings dialog box table for more information.
  • Transparency: Set the transparency, and the value range is 0-100. The default value is 0, which means completely opaque. The higher the value, the higher the transparency. A value of 100 is completely transparent.
  • Max/Min Visible: sets the maximum and minimum values of the model elevation participating in the Gradient Colors expression. Data beyond the set range does not participate in the Gradient Colors expression.
  • Equal distance: when Display Mode is Line Fill or Line and Face Fill, equal distance can be set. Isometric represents the spacing between lines.
  • Invalid Value Color: When an invalid value exists, it is displayed in the specified invalid value color.
  • Use EigenValue: Gradient Colors are layered by model elevation by default. If it is a model with characteristic values, you can check Use EigenValue to perform Gradient Colors. If there is no characteristic value, there is no effect.
