Function Description

SuperMap iDesktopX supports adding multiple Online Map services to the scene. You can easily select a Map Service as the base map of the 3D Scene. Supported services include the following:

• Sky Map: The State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping provides authoritative, credible and unified geographic information services for the public. It is the geographic information service website with the most complete data resources in China.
• OpenStree tMap: OSM for short, is a freely editable World Map.
• STK Terrain: STK World Terrain is a high-resolution, grid-based global terrain, which uses a variety of Datasource to adapt to the needs of different regions and different accuracy. STK Terrain is only added to Spherical Scene.
• Custom: Support custom input link address to access Map Service.

Function entrance

• Scene tab-> Data group-> Online MapDrop-down Button

Operating instructions

1. After creating or opening a new Scene, click the Data group Online Map button on the Scene tab of the ribbon to pop up a drop-down selection. Click the corresponding option as required to load the corresponding Online Map.
2. Click the STK Terrain "option to load a Terrain Layer.
3. Click the Open StreetMap "option to load a Screen Layer and a layer named OpenStreetMaps.
4. To load in the form of a custom link, click Customize to pop up the iServer Service Layer dialog box. The following Server Types are supported in the

   customization mode:

   • iServerRest Service: Please refer to the Open iServer Service Layer
   for specific operations.
   • OGC Service
   : Please refer to Open the OGC Service for specific operations.
   • MapWorld Service: Please refer to Open Tianditu Service Layer
   for specific operations.
   • ArcGIS Service: Open the ArcGISMap Service layer of specific operation
   room.

Caution:

The Open Stree tMap map may not be loaded temporarily because of the national ban.
