3D Tiles to S3M

Instructions for use

This function supports converting Oblique Photography Model, artificial modeling data and Point Cloud Data in 3D Tiles format into S3m format.

Function entrance

  • 3D Data Tab-> 3D Tiles Group-> 3D Tiles- S3M button
  • Toolbox -> 3D Data -> Oblique Data Processing->3DTiles-> S3M

Operation steps

  1. On the 3D Data tab, in the 3D Tiles group, click 3D Tiles-> The 3D Tiles-S3M dialog box appears.
  2. Make Source Data Settings, Result Data Settings, Advanced Settings, Georeferencing Origin Settings, and Coordinate System Settings as needed. See 3D Tiles- for specific parameters S3M Tools page.
    Caution:

    When Draco Cpmression is used in the original 3D Tiles data, and Draco Cpmression is selected as the vertex optimization method in the conversion process, the data may be distorted. Therefore, it is recommended to select no compression when there is geometric deformation in the conversion result.

  3. After setting, click Run to execute the 3D Tiles to S3M operation.
