3D Tiles To S3M
Usage
3D Tiles to S3M function supports converting 3D Tiles 1.0 data generated from oblique photographic 3D models, manually modeled data, BIM, point clouds, etc., to S3M data, or converting 3D Tiles 1.1 data generated from oblique photographic 3D models, manually modeled data, BIM, instantiated data, etc., to S3M data.
Function Entrance
- 3D Data tab -> 3D Tiles group -> 3DTiles->S3M button
- Toolbox -> 3D Data -> Oblique Data Processing -> 3DTiles->S3M
Operational Steps
- In the "3D Data" tab, within the "3D Tiles" group, click "3DTiles->S3M". The "3DTiles->S3M" dialog box will pop up.
- As needed, configure source data settings, result data settings, and advanced parameters such as data type, texture compression format, vertex optimization method, S3M version, thread count, etc. For specific parameters, refer to the 3DTiles->S3M tool page.
Note:When the original 3D Tiles data uses Draco compression, and Draco compression is selected as the vertex optimization method during conversion, the data may become deformed. Therefore, if geometric deformation occurs in the conversion result, it is recommended to choose no compression.
- After completing the settings, click Run to execute the 3D Tiles to S3M operation.
