"Style" Tab: Used to set the font style applied to the label objects (text) in the current unique value label thematic map.

The figure below is an example of a unique value label thematic map created using the PM2.5.smwu data from the SampleData sample data, with the Airlevel field in the vector point dataset PM25_20161103 as the unique value field value:

Single value expression: The combo box is used to display and set the thematic variable of the current unique value thematic map, that is, a property field of the current layer or a mathematical expression of a property field. Label objects corresponding to objects with the same unique value in the field are displayed with the same text style, while label objects corresponding to objects with different unique values have different text styles.
- The drop-down list of the combo box lists the names of numeric property fields of the vector dataset that can be used to create a unique value label map. The user can select any field to change the thematic variable used for the current unique values, or enter a field name in the combo box, but the field must exist in the drop-down list of the combo box. The user can also select the "Expression..." item in the drop-down list of the combo box and construct a mathematical expression of a property field in the "SQL Expression" dialog box that appears.
- Reset Unique Value after Expression Changed: If this check box is selected, after the field expression is updated, the current unique value label thematic map will use the new thematic variable to reconfigure the styles of the label objects (text) and refresh the display effects.
Color scheme: The combo box to the right of the label is used to set the text color style applied to each type of single-value label object in the unique value label thematic map. The drop-down list of the combo box provides a series of color schemes. When a color scheme is selected, the text of the label objects in each range segment is assigned different colors according to the color variation pattern of the color scheme. The current unique value label thematic map then uses the new color scheme to reconfigure the text color of the label objects and refresh the display effects.
Rotation Angle: If this check box is selected, you can enter a value in the input box on the right as the rotation angle for the labels. You can also directly select a field from the drop-down list and use its field values as the rotation angle for the labels. This type supports numeric and text fields.
Label unique value list: The bottom area of the "Style" tab displays a list of all unique values in the current unique value label thematic map. This list is mainly used to display each unique value, the text style adopted by the objects of each unique value type, and other display controls. Each item in the list corresponds to a type of unique value.
- Setting whether the unique value corresponding to the thematic value is visible: The visible button is used to control whether the corresponding unique value in the unique value label thematic map layer is displayed. Click this icon to control the display.
  - Unique value: Used to display the unique value of the sub-item, which is the unique attribute value displayed in the thematic map. If you need to modify the content of an existing unique value, you must modify the attribute value in the corresponding attribute table; modifications here are ineffective.
  - Title: Used to display and modify the title of the sub-item. You can directly edit and modify it in the cell of the "Title" column. The unique value title is used to help understand the specific meaning of the unique value and does not affect the unique value content displayed in the thematic map.
Visible button is used to control the visibility of the label objects belonging to the selected unique value item(s) in the current unique value label thematic map. Multiple label range segment items can be selected simultaneously. Click this button to control visibility. When the button is pressed, the label objects belonging to the selected label range segments are visible; when the button is not pressed, they are invisible.
Text Style button is used to set the text style of the selected unique value(s), meaning that all labels belonging to the selected unique values will be displayed using the set text style. After selecting one or more label range segment items (hold down the Shift key to select multiple items), click this button. In the text style dialog box that appears, you can modify the text label style of the selected single-value labels, apply a text template, or save the text of the currently selected single-value labels as a text template.
- Select a text template...: Used to apply an existing text template to the currently selected unique value item(s). Click this button, select a text template in the Select Style Template window that appears, and click OK to apply it. After application, you can continue to modify the font, font size, color, and font effects, etc.
- Add to text template...: Used to save the text effects of the current unique value item(s) as a text template. Click this button, enter the template name in the Add to Text Template window that appears, and set the target template library. If you select an existing template library, the new template will be added to the selected template library. After both the template name and the template library are filled in completely and pass validation, click OK to complete the addition. If you need to generate a local copy of the template at the same time, check Export a local copy at the same time and set the save location.
Click the save button to save the color band to the color scheme manager.
Adding or deleting thematic values: The add button is used to manage the thematic values in the thematic map. For a detailed description of thematic values, please refer to Modify unique value thematic map.
Sub-item sorting and reversing the color scheme: The ascending button sorts the sub-items in ascending order based on their values, and the descending button sorts them in descending order. The reverse button can adjust the color scheme in reverse order.

Tip:

The default display for fields in the drop-down lists of Single value expression and Rotation Angle is Field Alias. If necessary, you can switch to the field name in the File tab -> Options group. For details, please refer to the Preference Settings document.
