Feature Description
In the Layer Manager, select a vector layer, right-click, and choose Create Thematic Map ... from the context menu. In the dialog box that appears, click "graduated color label thematic map", and in the right list box, select the "Default" or "Administrative Division Label Range" item to generate a graduated color label thematic map based on the current vector layer.
When using a template, it is necessary to ensure that the field expression for the thematic map exists. If the current layer does not have the thematic map field in the thematic map template, a dialog box will pop up with the message "thematic map cannot display properly because the expression does not exist. please specify the expression." After the user re-specifies the field, the template can be used to create the thematic map.
Operation Steps
- In the Layer Manager, select a vector layer for which you want to produce a label segment thematic map.
- Click the "Default" or "Administrative Division Label Range" item to create a graduated color label thematic map.
- The graduated color label thematic map created from a template will automatically be added to the current map window as a thematic layer, and a thematic layer will also be added accordingly in the Layer Manager.
Tip:After creating a thematic map using the Default or Administrative Division Label Range option, the Thematic Map dialog box will pop up. You can further adjust the thematic map style based on the default rendering parameters provided by this dialog box to meet the display requirements of specific scenarios.
