Create Graduated Color Label Thematic Map

Feature Description

In the Layer Manager, select a vector layer, right-click, and choose "Create Thematic Map..." from the context menu. In the dialog box that appears, click "Graduated Color Label Thematic Map". Select either "Default" or "Administrative Division Range Label" from the right-side list to generate a graduated color label thematic map based on the current vector layer.

When using templates, ensure the thematic map's field expressions exist. If the current layer lacks the thematic map fields specified in the template, a warning dialog will appear: "The thematic map cannot display properly because the expression does not exist. Please specify the expression." Users can use the template to create the thematic map after re-specifying the field.

Steps

  1. Select a target vector layer in the Layer Manager for creating a graduated color label thematic map.
  2. Click either "Default" or "Administrative Division Range Label" to create the thematic map.
  3. The template-created thematic map will automatically appear as a thematic layer in the current map window and be added to the Layer Manager.

Notes

After creating the thematic map using "Default" or "Administrative Division Range Label", the "Graduated Color Label Thematic Map" window will open, displaying default settings. Users can modify these styles to achieve more customized thematic map results.
