When the current map is a raster layer, click the "Thematic Map" button in the "New" group, select "Grid Unique Value Map" from the dialog box, then choose a template on the right side of the window to create a Grid Unique Value Map. Users can also customize Grid Unique Value Maps through the styles window.

Unique Value Thematic Maps can be created based on any raster layer. When creating a Grid Unique Value Map, first set the raster layer for which you want to create the thematic map as the current layer by selecting it in the Layer Manager.

Grid Unique Value Maps can only be created for integer-type raster data. Non-integer data cannot be used to create Grid Unique Value Maps.
