Instructions for use
Through the new Graduated Symbols Map function, the template-based Create a graduated symbols map. Drawing method is relatively fast, but there will be a gap from the actual needs of users, and it needs to be modified to get satisfactory thematic map effect. Making Graduated Symbols Map based on Thematic Map Template is not only convenient and fast, but also easy to meet the needs of batch drawing, so as to realize the reuse of Thematic Map Template.
When using the Thematic Map Template, it is necessary to ensure the existence of the field expression of the thematic map. If there is no thematic map field in the Thematic Map Template in the current layer, the prompt dialog box as shown in the following figure will pop up, and the user needs to Specify Field again.
Operation steps
- In Layer Manager, select a Vector Layer for which you want to create a Graduated Symbols Map.
- Select a Vector Layer in Layer Manager, right-click, select Create Thematic Map.. in the pop-up Context Menu, and click Graduated Symbols Map ". Select a Graduated Symbols Map Templates to create a Graduated Symbols Map.
- The Graduated Symbols Map of the Create from Template is automatically displayed as a theme layer in the Add to Current Map Window, and a theme layer is added accordingly in Layer Manager.
Precautions
- The Graduated Symbols Map "window displays the default setting information for creating the current thematic map, such as the Thematic variable, the style of Graduated Symbols, And that associate Parameter settings. On this basis, users can reset the style of the Graduated Symbols Map to obtain a more desirable thematic map effect.
- After closing the "Graduated Symbols Map" "window, you can double click the layer in the" Layer Manager "" or right click the layer, and select "Modify Thematic Map" "to open the" Graduated Symbols Map "" window to modify the thematic map.
