Save Layout
The "Save Layout" function is used to save the layout in the current Layout. This operation can only save the layout to the Workspace. Only when the Workspace is further saved, the layout can be finally saved. When the Workspace is opened again, the saved layout can be obtained.
- Objects that are not selected in the current Layout.
- Right click the mouse in Layout, and select "Save Layout" in the pop-up Context Menu.
Save layout as
The "Save as Layout" function is used to save as Layout a new layout.
- Right-click the layout node in the Works pace Manager, and click Save as Layout "in the pop-up Context Menu.
- In the Save as Layout "dialog box that pops up, enter the name of the new layout, and click OK to add a layout node under the layout collection node in Workspace Manager. This node corresponds to the layout just saved.
Layout storage upgrade
version optimizes and adjusts the storage of the layout, and solves the problem that the storage of the layout in Historical versions is easy to cause data damage. Users should be aware of the following implications of a storage upgrade:
- The new version uses an XML structure to store the layout in Workspace, which solves the problem of file corruption in Save Layout in the previous version.
- The new version is compatible with layouts saved in Workspace by the old version, but the old version cannot open layouts saved in Workspace by the new version.
Note: After the old version of Workspace is saved by the new version, the layout will be stored in the upgraded way, so the layout in the old version cannot be opened again. However, in the new version, you can export the layout as a Layput Template, and then, by loading the Layput Template in the old version, you can open the saved layout of the new version in the old version.
- New version layout storage location changed. If the Workspace is stored in the sxwu format, the old version stores the layout in the.lyts file separately, but the new version stores the layout directly in the sxwu Workspace file and describes the layout in the adjusted XML structure, including layout elements, Layout Settings, and so on.
- In the new release, pictures inserted into layouts are stored in the Workspace file name _ images "folder at the same level as the Workspace directory. Layouts only store Picture Info information. After the old version of Workspace is saved by the new version, the layout will be stored in the upgraded way, so the pictures inserted in the layout will be stored in the special folder mentioned above.
