This section includes operations related to layout, such as Open, New, Delete, Save Layout and other general operations, which is convenient for users to have an overall understanding of the basic operations of layout.
Open Layout
Used to display Open Layout in a new Layout.
Operating Procedure
Right click the layout node in Works pace Manager and select "Open Layout" in the pop-up Context Menu. The selected layout will be displayed in the new Layout.
Precautions
- Press and hold the Ctrl key, select multiple layout nodes in Workspace Manager, right click the mouse, and select Open Layout "in the pop-up Context Menu. The selected layouts will be displayed in multiple layouts. Each layout is displayed in a separate Layout.
- The user cannot open the layout saved in Workspace in the new version with the old version because the layout is saved from Version has optimized and adjusted the storage of the layout. The new version is compatible with the layout saved in the Workspace of the old version, but the old version cannot open the layout saved in the Workspace of the new version. Please export the layout in the new version as a Layput Template first. Then load the Layput Template in the old version to open the saved layout of the new version in the old version. Create Layout
provides two new types of Layout, namely, new blank Layout and based on Layput Template New Layout.
The Create Layout Entry has two places:
- Open New Layout by clicking the ribbon > Home tab > Prospector group Layout item.
- In Workspace Manager-> Open New Layout by right-clicking the Layout node-& gt Create Layout.
- In Workspace Manager-> Right-click the Layout node-> Load Map Template.. To open a Layput Template file with an extension of *.ult, and then the current layout can be created based on the loaded Layput Template.
Operating Procedure
- New Blank Layout: In the "Create Layout" window, click the " Blank Layout" icon to create a new blank layout.
- Create Layout Based On Template: The built-in Layput templates are arranged in the Create Layout "window in turn. It includes various types of Layput Templates, such as single Map Template, multiple Map Templates, and Land Use planning templates.
- Select a Layput Template
- in the list and click it to pop up a preview of the Layput Template.
- If the selected template contains elements such as "Map" or "Eagle Eye", the existing map in Current Workspace can be selected as the map element of the Layput Template in the drop-down menu of the "Map" or "Eagle Eye" tab in the template preview window. After
- Select Map/Eagle Eye, click the "Create" button in the dialog box to create a new layout based on the selected template. The north arrow, title, scale bar, point, line, surface and other Geometry in the Layput Template are directly loaded into the current Layout.
- If the original Layput Template contains a map, and the Datasource and Dataset associated with the map are the same as those in the Current Workspace, The map in the Layput Template can also be loaded in its entirety into the current layout. If the Datasource and Dataset associated with the map contained in the original Layput Template are not the same as the Datasource and Dataset in the Current Workspace, only the map control that is not filled with the map will be loaded to the current Layout. The user can select the map control without filling the map, and use the Drop-down Button on the right side of the Map tab to display and set the map associated with the current filling box in the "Properties" window of the map.
Precautions
The Create Layout "command is available regardless of whether there is a Datasource open in the Current Workspace.
Delete Layout
"Delete Layout" function to delete the layout from the layout collection in Workspace.
Operating Procedure
- Right-click the layout node to be deleted in the Works pace Manager, and select Delete Layout "in the pop-up Context Menu.
- A prompt dialog box pops up to ask the user whether the selected layout is really deleted. Click the "OK" button in the dialog box to delete the selected layout; click the "Cancel" button to cancel the deletion operation.
Precautions
- You can select multiple layouts at the same time in Workspace Manager, and then right click the mouse and select the "Delete Layout" command in the pop-up Context Menu (also the Context Menu of the layout node) to delete multiple selected layouts at a time.
- You can also Delete Layout by pressing the Delete key.
Rename the layout
Rename function to change the name of the layout.
Operating Procedure
- Right-click the layout node to be renamed, and click Rename in the pop-up Context Menu.
- The Show Name of the layout node becomes editable. At this point, type a new Layout Name.
- After modifying the name, click anywhere in the Application interface or press the "Enter" key to complete the modification of Layout Name.
Precautions
- Rename Template rules are the same as Windows naming rules and do not support "\/*?"? : > < ¦ These special symbols, but the. Symbol is supported. You can also implement a Rename Template by
- pressing F2.
Sort Layouts
The "Sort by Name" function is used to sort all the layouts in the layout set. In essence, it is used to sort all the layout nodes under the layout set node according to their Show Names, so as to facilitate browsing and searching for layouts.
Operating Procedure
Right click the layout collection node in Works pace Manager, and select the "Sort by Name" item in the pop-up Context Menu.
