Draw Polyline
Function Description
The Draw Polyline command is used to draw a continuous line object composed of various types of line segments. The line object drawn by this function can be composed of polyline, B-Spline Curve, Cardinal and three-point arc, and the line segment type can be switched to any one of the four types during drawing. Line objects are mainly used to describe Polylines, such as rivers, railways, roads, power lines, etc.
Function entrance
- Object Operation tab-> Object Drawing group-> Line Drawing Settings drop-down box-> Draw Polyline.
Operating instructions

- On the Object Operation tab, in the Object Drawing group, click the Drawing Settings Drop-down Button and select the Draw Polyline option to switch the drawing status to support polylines.
- At this time, the mouse is in the polyline drawing status. In the Object Drawing group, click the Curve Drop-down Button and select B-Spline Curve, Cardinal to switch the polyline drawing type.
- Move Stop by Mouse to Map, click the left mouse button at the appropriate position to determine the starting position of the polyline, continue to move the mouse to the appropriate position, and click the left mouse button in turn to determine the node of the polyline.
- When drawing a polyline object, you can switch the polyline type in the Object Drawing group. After switching the segment type, move the mouse to Map to continue drawing. Click the right mouse button to end the current drawing operation.
Caution:
The Draw Polyline operation does not support Parametric Drawing.
