Draw Polyline
Feature Description
Draw Polyline command is used to create continuous line objects composed of multiple segment types. The generated polyline can include straight segments, B-Spline curves, Cardinal curves, and three-point arcs. Users can switch between these four segment types during drawing. Polylines are primarily used to represent linear features such as rivers, railways, roads, and power lines.
Feature Entry
- Features Tab->Feature Drawing Group->Line Drawing Settings Drop-down->Draw Polyline.

- In the Features tab's Feature Drawing group, click the Drawing Settings drop-down button and select Draw Polyline to activate polyline drawing mode.
- The cursor will switch to polyline drawing mode. Users can click the Curve drop-down button in the Feature Drawing group to switch between B-Spline Curve and Cardinal curve types.
- Position the cursor on the map and left-click to set the starting point. Continue moving the cursor and left-clicking to add vertices.
- During drawing, users can switch segment types in the Feature Drawing group. Right-click to complete the current polyline.

The Draw Polyline operation does not support parametric drawing.
