Modify Image Pyramids
Feature Description
For images or Raster Dataset that have been created Pyramid, it is supported to Create Image Pyramid again through the Modify Image Pyramid function.
For images or raster datasets that have already created pyramids, this function allows the image pyramid to be recreated by Modify Image Pyramids.
Feature Entry
- Start tab -> Data Processing drop-down -> Image Pyramids -> Image Pyramids Manager dialog.
- Workspace Manager -> Right-click Menu on Image (or Raster) Dataset -> Modify Image Pyramids -> Image Pyramids Manager Dialog.
Delete Image Pyramids
Feature Description
Images and raster datasets that have created image pyramids can be deleted. However, image pyramids cannot be deleted for image files opened as a datasource, such as TIFF or IMG format files.
Feature Entry
- Start tab-> Data Processing drop-down -> Image Pyramids -> Image Pyramids Manager dialog-> Delete.
- Workspace Manager -> Right-click Menu on Image (or Raster) Dataset -> Delete Image Pyramids.
Tips: - The Image Pyramids button is only available if there is an open datasource in the current workspace.
- Image pyramids for image files added as files cannot be deleted. Please directly delete the *.ovr file corresponding to the image’s location.
