Reassign Datasource
Due to the association between Datasource and Workspace, Edit Data, processing and analysis in Workspace depend on the data in Datasource. When copying Workspace, Datasource needs to be copied together. Generally, Datasource and Workspace are stored in the same directory folder.
Reassign Datasource is used to solve the problem that the storage location of Datasource changes and Workspace cannot automatically Link the location of Dara source. In this case, you need to Reassign the location of Datasource. To ensure that actions saved in Workspace are displayed correctly.
Function entrance
- Workspace Manager-> Existing data source node Context Menu-> Reassign option.
Operating instructions
- In Workspace Manager, right-click the Datasource that needs to be reassigned, and select the Reassign item;
- On the Reassign Datasource dialog, select the correct Datasource;
- Click OK to complete the Reassign Datasource operation;
Caution:
- Reassign Datasource is available only if the Datasource storage location has changed relative to Workspace. Automatically check the connectivity of Other Datasources when
- using Reassign Datasource. If they are all disconnected and the Datasources are all stored in the same folder, the program will automatically associate other disconnected Datasources and complete the re-assignment of Datasources in batches.
- After Reassign Datasource, if there are saved maps, scenes, etc. In Workspace, you need to Change Dataset to restore the operation before the Datasource location changes. Refer to Change Dataset .
