Save/Delete/Close Dataset
Dataset Save As
The Dataset Save As function supports saving one or more selected Datasets to the Create File Datasource under the specified path. Create Datasource? Simplifies steps while Save As Dataset.
Function entrance
- Context Menu for Dataset in Workspace Manager-> Dataset Save As Item .
Parameter Description
- Target Dataset: Support the display and setting of the target Dataset Name.
- SmID unchanged: Set whether to keep the SmID of the Dataset unchanged for the saved Dataset. If No is selected, the SmID will be reordered.
Delete Dataset
The Delete button deletes the specified Dataset. You can delete multiple selected Datasets at the same time.
Function entrance
- Context Menu for Dataset in Workspace Manager-> Delete Dataset Item .
Operating instructions
In Workspace Manager, select the Dataset to be deleted. You can use the Shift key or Ctrl key to select multiple Datasets at the same time.
- Right click the selected Dataset and select the Delete Dataset item in the pop-up Context Menu to pop up the Delete Dataset prompt dialog box.
- At the same time, the shortcut key Delete is supported to quickly execute the Delete Dataset operation.
Hint: - The Delete button is available
- only if there is a Dataset selected in Workspace Manager.
- When multiple Vector Datasets are selected, only multiple Datasets under the same Datasource can be selected, and multiple Datasets across Datasources cannot be selected.
Close Dataset
The Close Dataset command closes one or more open datasets in the Current Workspace.

- Context Menu for Dataset in Workspace Manager-> Close Dataset Item .
Operation steps
- Right-click one (or more) Dataset nodes to be closed in Works pace Manager, and select the Close Dataset command in the pop-up Context Menu.
- When performing Vector Dataset Create Spatial Index, you must Close Dataset before performing related operations.
Hint: - After clicking
- the Close Dataset button, a prompt window will pop up: "Executing this operation will close the data associated with it. Please confirm whether to close the selected Dataset?". ".
