Function Description

supported, and the model of Batch Import corresponds to the same Model Position. Supported Model Data formats are *.s3mb, *.s3m, *.osgb, *.osg, *.3ds, *.x, *.dxf, *.obj, *.fbx, *.dae, *.stl, *.off, *.sgm, *.gltf, *.flt, *.mod, etc.

Function entrance

  • Start tab-> Data Processing-> Data Import-> 3D-> Model.
  • Toolbox-> Data Import-> Batch Import Models tool.
  • Workspace Manager -> Specify DatasourceContext Menu-> Import 3D Model -> Batch Import button.

Operating instructions

  1. The Batch Import Models dialog appears on the Model button in the Start tab-> Data Processing-> Data Import Drop-down Button.
  2. Click the Add button or the Add Folder button and select the target Model data in the pop-up dialog box to add the corresponding data to the File List in the dialog box. Add Folder enables you to Batch add all Model Data in a folder.
  3. Batch Import Models parameters include:
    • OBJ Rotate Mode: It is only used to set the OBJRotate Model mode, including no rotation, 90 ° clockwise rotation around the X axis, and 90 ° counterclockwise rotation around the X axis.
    • Model Position: used to set the insertion point coordinate of Model in the scene. This coordinate can be regarded as the coordinate of the local coordinate origin of the model itself. It is 0,0,0 by default.
    • Projection Settings: The Projected Coordinate System can be set by either Projection Settings or Import Projection File. Please refer to Set Projected Coordinate System for detailed operation steps.
  4. After Parameter Settings, click the Import button to execute the Batch Import Models data operation.
Caution:
After

Model Data Import, the coordinate system of Model Dataest is consistent with the coordinate system of Positioning Point Dataset by default.
