Connecting iServer Service
Before online analysis data input, you need to start the iServer service and configure login information including the iServer server address and username to ensure access to iServer services.
The application automatically records server addresses previously connected on this machine. For reconnection, select the corresponding server address from the iServer server address dropdown menu for auto-connect. You can also choose a new connection to log into another iServer service.
- Server address: Set the IP address of the activated and configured iServer service;
- Username/Password: Enter the credentials of an iServer administrator account.
Data Input
Online analysis supports two data input methods: HDFS and iServer Catalog. For data usage and preparation details, see: Data Preparation.
HDFS
For HDFS data input, click the Browse button next to "Select File", then enter the HDFS data path and select the target CSV file in the dialog. Notes:
- While HDFS can store various data types (points, lines, polygons), current iServer only supports point data analysis. Selecting non-point data types will trigger an "Analysis Failed" alert.
- The CSV file requires a corresponding meta file. If no meta file exists, click OK in the "Metafile is unexisted, please configure" prompt to set parameters in the subsequent dialog. Click Save to create the meta file.
iServer Catalog
For iServer Catalog data input, click the dropdown button next to the dataset. The displayed dataset list shows analyzable data types available under the current server address. Select the desired data for analysis.
You can also register or import new data for analysis through Register Data and Import Data options.
- Register Data: Clicking this button opens the iServer data registration page, allowing registration of new self-managed data storage locations including shared disk directories, HDFS directories, and spatial databases. Self-managed data will appear under ShareFile resources. For details, see: Register Data.
- Import Data: Clicking this button opens the iServer DataCatalog relational data list page for data import operations. Note: Before importing, ensure the iServer Datastore is configured in the connected iServer server address.
- Under Relationship/DataImport resources, you can upload datasets. Supported formats include: UDB datasource, CSV file, workspace, Excel file, GeoJSON file, and Shapefile. Note: UDB datasources, Shapefiles, and workspaces must be compressed as *.zip files.
- Successfully uploaded datasets can be viewed in the dataset list under Relationship/Datasets resources.
- Data successfully input through these methods will appear in the dataset dropdown menu for selection.
