Road Engineering Parameter Settings

Instructions for use

This tool can get the road engineering parameter information based on Parameter Settings and TIN TerrainTile Data. These parameters can provide data basis for subsequent Road Engineering Design such as bridge construction and road grading.

The tool is not used alone, Requires the use of corridor analysis tools, building bridge tools, corridor grading tools, Use with the Tunnel Modeling tool or Road Modeling tool.

Is Geographic Coordinates

Sets whether the coordinates of the road centerline of the road project are latitude and longitude. It is checked by default. Boolean
TIN Terrain: Selects the config file (*.sct) of the TIN terrain data involved in the operation. String
Bridge Tolerance (Meters):
(optional)
Sets the bridge tolerance size in meters. Default is 4.0. Bridges are constructed when the height difference between the road centerline and the corresponding terrain is greater than specified bridge tolerance. Double
Tunnel Tolerance (Meters):
(optional)
Sets the tunnel tolerance size in meters. The default is 8.0. When the height difference between the road centerline and the corresponding terrain is less than specified tunnel tolerance in meters, the tunnel is constructed. Double
Revetment Tolerance (m):
(optional)
Sets the revetment tolerance size in meters. The default is 0.1. The berm is constructed when the absolute value of the height difference between the road edge and the corresponding terrain is greater than specified berm tolerance. Double
Revetment Angle (Degree):
(Optional)
Sets the revetment angle (the angle between the face of the revetment and the horizontal plane) in degrees. The default value is 35.0. Double
Revetment Width
(Optional)
Sets the revetment width size in meters. Default is 15.0. Double
Road Width (meters):
(optional)
Sets the road width in meters. The default value is 6.0. Double
Road Thickness (m):
(optional)
Sets the road thickness in meters. The default is 0.8. Double
Tunnel Radius
(Optional)
Sets the tunnel radius in meters. The default is 3.0. Double
