Instructions for Use
Block adjustment is a high-precision geometric correction method that calculates the orientation parameters of satellite images based on tie points and ground control points measured within a stereo or planar block. This method effectively eliminates systematic and random errors, making it suitable for large-area image coverage or multi-image mosaic processing scenarios.
SuperMap iDesktopX11i(2023) version starts to support this feature.
Parameter Description
Parameter Name | Parameter Interpretation | Parameter Type |
Dataset |
Displays the dataset containing the images used for adjustment. This field is not editable. |
DatasetMosaic |
Input Image Type | Select the image type for adjustment. The default is Panchromatic Image, but it can be switched to Multispectral Image, Forward-looking Image, Rear-view Image, or Front View and Rear View Image based on specific needs. | ComboBoxImageType |
Refer to the Adjustment File |
Uses existing adjustment file information to make the edge matching accuracy and plane accuracy of the current adjustment results closer to the existing accuracy. Use the Add and Delete buttons on the toolbar to conveniently manage multiple reference adjustment files. The reference adjustment file is generated from the previous block adjustment. |
ReferenceFileData |
Adjustment Mode |
Select the specific adjustment calculation method. The default is Constrained Tie Point Elevation.
|
BlockAdjustmentType |
Result RPC Path |
Displays the storage path for the result RPC file. This field is not editable. For DOM production workflows, the default value is Set Image Path中的Processing path/Adjustment/BlockAdjustment. For DSM production workflows, the default value is Set Image Path (DSM/DEM)中的Processing path/Adjustment/BlockAdjustment. |
File |
Default Adjustment File Path |
The adjustment file stores information about the images and RPC file paths involved in the adjustment, with a storage format of *.csv.
|
Boolean |
Adjustment File Path |
Available when Default Adjustment File Path is unchecked. Specifies the path for storing the result adjustment file. |
File |
Correction Model Type |
Options include Linear RPC Correction Model, Quadratic Polynomial RPC Correction Model, and Cubic Polynomial RPC Correction Model. The default is Linear RPC Correction Model.
|
CorrectedModelType |
Output Result
Outputs the result RPC file (*.rpb) and the adjustment file (*.csv) storing RPC and image information.
