Video Effects

Feature Description

Supports adding special effects to videos through AR technology to enhance visual effects. Allows adding multiple layers of effects to the same video, with configurable main effect, sky effect, ground effect, and flash effect to meet complex scenarios requiring effect superposition. For example, a thunderstorm effect can be created by separately setting different effects for dark clouds, heavy rain, ground splashes, and lightning across four layers, resulting in more realistic and multi-dimensional visualization.

  • Provides 15 predefined video effects including falling petals, clouds, lightning, rain, snow, and ground effects;
  • Supports custom video effects using user-defined materials;
  • Allows parameter adjustments for effect position, playback speed, frequency, brightness, etc., to optimize display effects.
Notes:

Video effects require Python environment and script configuration. For details, see Environment Configuration.

Feature Entry

  • Using predefined templates: In the Video Enhancement tab -> Special Effects group Gallery control, click any option to apply the selected effect to the current video.
  • Using custom video effects: In the Video Enhancement tab -> Special Effects group -> Click the Settings button to open the Video Effects Settings panel.

Parameter Description

  1. Supported video effects are categorized into four types:
    • Main Effect: Applies to the entire video frame. Predefined templates include falling flowers, light rain, falling leaves, and heavy snow.
    • Sky Effect: Displays from the video top downward. Adjust the Position parameter to set visible bounds (default 50% for upper half). Predefined templates include clouds, dark clouds, and lightning.
    • Ground Effect: Displays from the video bottom upward. Adjust the Position parameter to set visible bounds (default 50% for lower half). Predefined templates include rainwater ground impact effects.
    • Flash Effect: Adds flashing effects displaying from the video top downward. Adjust the Position parameter to set visible bounds (default 50% for upper half). The Lightning Enhancement template features more realistic flashing effects compared to basic Lightning.
  2. Common parameters for all effect types:
    • Path: Click the folder button to select custom effect files.
    • Playback Speed: Adjusts effect animation speed.
    • Position: Sets visible area percentage for effect display.
    • Delay: Specifies effect playback delay time in seconds.
    • Playback Frequency: Controls effect occurrence frequency.
    • Brightness: Adjusts color luminance of current map.
  3. Reset: In the Video Enhancement tab -> Special Effects group -> Click Reset to restore original video effects.
