You can perform Style Settings on a layer by using Style Settings tab and Layer Style panel .
Style Settings tab
The Fill Style group of the Style Settings tab is used to set the Fill Style of a face object in a face layer, and the functions in this group are available only when the current layer is a face layer.
The Fill symbol Drop-down Button in the Fill Style group is used to set the fill style of the face object in the face layer. The button takes effect only when Gradient Mode in the Fill Style group is No Gradient.
Foreground Color The Drop-down Button is used to set the foreground color of the Fill symbol, that is, to set the color of the Fill symbol itself.
The combo box to the right of the Transparency (%) tab is used to set the transparency of the face objects in the face layer.
- Fill symbol
- Click the Fill Symbol Drop-down Button to pop up the fill symbol resource list. The upper part of the list displays the Fill symbol style of the user Recently used, and the lower part of the list provides the default root group symbol library of the system. You can select the symbols in the Symbol list as the Fill symbol style of the face object in the current layer as required.
- The user can also click the More Symbols.. button at the bottom of the Fill symbol resource list and set the fill symbol style of the face object in the Fill Symbol Selector pop-up window.
- When the user selects a Fill symbol style, all face objects in the previous layer will be displayed in real time according to the selected Fill symbol style.
- Foreground Color
- Click the Foreground Color Drop-down Button, and the user can select Default Color in the pop-up color panel, or customize Other Color. Recent Colors is listed
- in the color panel.
- Transparency
- By clicking this button, the user can use the slider to adjust the transparency of the face object, or directly enter the value in the text box, and the set transparency effect will be displayed on the map in real time. The value of
- transparency is an integer between 0 and 100. The higher the transparency value, the more transparent the face layer is, with 0 being completely opaque and 100 being completely transparent. The setting here only affects the transparency of the face Object fill in the face layer, and does not affect the transparency of the border line of the face object.
Style panel
- Two ways to open the Layer Style panel:
- Double-click the point layer in Layer Manager.
- Right-click the point layer in the stand-alone Layer Manager and select the Layer Style button.
Fill Style can be set in the panel. This panel is organized in the same way as Fill Symbol Selector. For details about Style Settings, refer to Populate Symbol Style Settings.
- The current setting is in effect in real time for all line objects in the entire line layer.
