Instructions for use
The function of saving Layer Style to the template library is used to set the display style (Uniform Style) of the objects in the Vector Layer to be saved to the Style Templates library. This applies the carefully configured Layer Style to other Vector Layers of the same type.
According to different types of Vector Layer, it is mainly divided into three types: point, line and surface. Therefore, when the style of Vector Layer is saved as Style Templates, the point, line and surface types of Vector Layer will be used. Save Style Templates in the appropriate point, line, and Fill Style Templates libraries. Also, the templates in the Style Templates gallery of their corresponding types are displayed in real time in the drop-down list of Templates of Point Style group, Line Style group, and Fill Style group in the Style Settings tab on the ribbon. That is, the newly saved Style Templates are automatically added to the drop-down list of Templates in the corresponding group on the Style Settings tab.
Operation steps
- Right click a Vector Layer node in Layer Manager, and select Save to Library.. from Layer Style Template in the pop-up Context Menu Options.
- The Save Marker Style Templates, Save Line Save Line Style Templates, and Save Fill Style Templete dialogs pop up for different vector types of point, line, and surface, respectively. Enter the name of Style Templates, click the drop-down box after Create Location to select the existing folder in the template library as the storage location, and click the Save button in the dialog box.
- Alternatively, click the New Folder button to Create New Folder and save Style Templates. Click the Save button to Auto Save the template and close the current dialog box to finish saving the Style Templates library. The new template library is stored in the & Marker, Line, Fill subfolder of the corresponding style type under the "Installation Directory \ Templates \ Style \". The following figure takes the saving of Marker Style Templates to the template library as an example.
- After saving, click the Template Drop-down Button of the corresponding style group on the Style Settings tab to view or apply the saved Style Templates.
