Import GIM

Instructions for use

The Import GIM "command is used to import GIM data in *.gim format and add a Model Dataest node in the Target Datasource.

Operation steps

  1. Select Target Datasource or Create Datasource in Workspace Manager.
  2. Click the Import GIM button in the BIM drop-down menu in the Model group on the 3D Data tab to bring up the Data Import "dialog box.
  3. GIM path: Click the folder button to select the GIM data to be imported.
  4. Azimuth: Azimuth.
  5. Result:
    • Target Datasource: Select the imported Datasource by right-clicking the Drop-down Button.
    • Result Dataset Name: Set Any String as the Resulting dataset name.
  6. Click "Run" to refresh Target Datasource in Workspace Manager, and GIMDataset node will be added under Target Datasource.

Precautions

  • The coordinate system of GIM data after Import Dataset is 4490.
