Unique-The Properties tab page of the values Map "window is mainly used to set the Display Parameter for the single-value objects in the current unique-values Map.

When Unique-values Map is made based on surface layer, line layer and point layer respectively, the contents displayed in the attribute window of thematic map are slightly different.

  1. Expression: Used to display and set the Thematic variable of the current Unique-values Map, that is, the mathematical expression of a Property Field or Property Field of the current layer.
    • Click the Drop-down Button of the combo box on the right side of the "Expression:" item, and the drop-down list that pops up lists all the Property Fields of the current Vector Dataset;
    • In the drop-down list, select the Thematic variable (Single Property Field) of the current Unique-values Map layer; The user can also click the Expression.. "Item in the drop-down list, and construct the field expression in the pop-up SQL Expression" dialog box as the Thematic variable of the Unique-values Map.
    • Reset Unique Value after Expression Changed: If this check box is checked, the program will automatically reset the single value after changing the expression. The current Unique-values Map will be mapped with the modified Thematic variable in real time, and the Display Effects will be refreshed.
    • Support "Custom Expression" in the point layer thematic map attribute: Support setting of Marker Size and Rotation angle in the point object, support manual input of specific values, and support selecting a specific Property Field in the attribute table as the setting effect.

    Note For data Create Thematic Map of Oracle Plus and SQL Plus engine types, field expression can only be field value or field expression, such as (SmID) or (SmID + 1). The By Conditions expression is not currently supported to set the way the thematic map fields are set. If the set field expression is a conditional expression, such as "SmID > 100", the thematic map will fail to be made, and the Output Window will prompt "Thematic map update failed".

  2. Custom Expression: Custom Thematic Map style through field value information, where Point Dataset supports setting Marker Style, color, size and Rotation angle; Line Dataset supports setting Line Style, color, and width; Region Dataset supports setting Fill Style, foreground color, background color, and transparency.
  3. Color Scheme: The "Color Scheme:" combo box is used to display and set the color style of the current Unique-values Map.
    • Click the Drop-down Button on the right side of the "Color Scheme:" combo box, and select a Color Scheme in the pop-up drop-down list to assign different colors to each thematic value of the current Unique-Values Map according to the selected color scheme.
  4. Visibility settings:
    • Click the Visible icon button in the middle toolbar of the Unique-values Map "window to control the visibility of the Map corresponding to all the selected thematic values in the thematic value list.
    • Click the visible icon in each thematic value item to control the visibility of the corresponding Map of the thematic value item.
  5. Symbol Style Settings: "Unique"-The Style Settings button in the toolbar in the middle of the values Map "window can be used to set the style of the selected theme value item in the theme value list; The user can also set the style of the Map corresponding to the thematic value in the pop-up "Style Settings" window by clicking the Marker Style icon in each thematic value item. The Unique-values Map and Symbol Style Settings buttons created by different types of Vector Datasets have different functions.
  6. Add or remove thematic values:
    • The Add button is used to manage thematic values in thematic maps. Click the Add button to pop up the thematic value management interface. You can add or delete thematic values in the interface, or add new thematic values in the dialog box below. After thematic values are added, the list of thematic values is updated synchronously to correspond to the modified thematic values.
    • The Delete button is used to delete all selected Thematic Value entries in the Thematic Values list. Select the thematic value to be deleted in the thematic value list, and click Delete in the toolbar to delete the corresponding item of the selected thematic value. When a theme value is deleted, the object corresponding to the original theme value is displayed in the default style.
  7. Child sorting and Reverse Color Scheme:
    • Select the single-value subitem and click the Move Up button to move the subitem of Unique-values Map up.
    • Select the single-value subitem and click the Move Down button to move the subitem of Unique-values Map down.
    • Click
    • the Ascending button to set all the subitems of the Unique-values Map to Ascending according to the value of the subitem.
    • Click the Descending button to Descend all the subitems of the Unique-values Map according to the values of the subitems.

      Note: Multiple single-value subitems can be selected at the same time to move in batches. You can press and hold the Shift key to select multiple single-value subitems, and then keep pressing and holding the Shift key to move in batches. If you release the Shift key before moving, you will not be able to move in bulk. The sequence of single-value subitems after the program moves Auto Save.

    • Click the Reverse Order button to adjust the Color Scheme in reverse order, that is, arrange the color positions in the Color Scheme in reverse order to form a new color table.
  8. Save Ribbon to Color Scheme Manager: Click the Save Ribbon to Color Scheme Manager button to pop up the Save Ribbon to Color Scheme Manager "dialog box. The modified Color Scheme can be saved to the Color Scheme management library for reuse in other drawing work.
  9. Sub-item positioning: Select one or more thematic map sub-items in the thematic map sub-item list, right click and select the "Positioning" option to display the corresponding objects in the Highlight in Map. If the anchored object is in the Current MapVisible Bounds:, the object is directly highlighted; if the anchored object is not in the current Map, the Map Scale? Center Display anchored object is maintained. Note: When using the sub-item positioning function of the thematic map, it is necessary to set the layer to a selectable state.
  10. Grouping (iDesktopX): Select multiple sub-items in the sub-item list of the thematic map, right click, and select the Merge Group option to merge multiple sub-items into a group, and manage the display style and visibility of the group in a unified way. Colleagues can split the group into single subitems through the Split Group function in the Context Menu.

  12. topic value list, in addition to setting the visibility and Marker Style of the single value item, you can also set the single value and title of the subitem of the caption map. The specific description is as follows:
    • Single Value: It is used to display and modify the single value of the subitem, which can be directly edited and modified in the cell of the "Single Value" column. If the modified single value already exists, the setting is invalid and the original value is restored.
    • Title: Used to display and modify the title of the subitem, which can be edited and modified directly in the cell of the Title column.

Remark

  1. The Unique-values Map made and modified by the user can be saved as a template so as to be applied to the thematic map making of other layers. For details of Save as thematic map template, please refer to Save to Thematic Map Template Library .
  2. When Create Thematic Map in the Use Template mode, the user can directly select the saved template in the drop-down menu of the Template Drop-down Button to apply it to the production of other thematic maps.
  3. The Default Style "for a single-value thematic child is used to display the flavor of the Unadded Item in the thematic list of values.
  4. Generate Cache is not supported to use the stretch function in the thematic map subitem expansion.
