Viewing Feature Object Properties

Instructions for use

Enables viewing and editing of Attribute Information for one or more objects selected in the Chart Window. Attribute Information includes Object InfoReference Object and Nodes. Among

  • Object Info includes Basic Info and Attribute Information. Basic Info includes Object Name, Object Long Name, Record ID, SmID, Organization Abbreviation, Object Code, Localization Name, Object Type, Geometry Type, Main Object Long Name, Set Object Long Name, water depth value; Attribute Information contains Property Abbreviation, attribute name, attribute value.
  • Reference Object is the boundary information of the selected object, including Object ID, Boundary Direction, Boundary Type, Mask Type, and settings.
  • Node sComple tely Within type, total number of subobjects, current subobjects, total number of nodes, node coordinate information, and so on.

Operation steps

  1. Select Object in Chart Window. Use the Shift key or drag the box to select multiple objects at the same time.
  2. Click the right mouse button in the Chart Window, and select the Properties command in the pop-up Context Menu.
  3. The Attributes window that pops up displays the Details of the selected object, including the Basic Info, Attributes, Reference Object, and Nodes of the object.
  4. In the object area of the Attribute window, you can switch the selected object to view the Attributes of the corresponding object. At the same time, Map will automatically locate the position of the current object feature and highlight the object feature.
  5. You can edit Attributes corresponding to an object in the Object Info, Reference Object, or Nodes panel. For details, see Edit Attribute Information .

Remark

If both Chart objects and normal Map are selected in the current Chart Window, the Properties command in the Context Menu is still available, and you can view the Object Properties, Spatial Info, and Nodes of the normal Map at the same time.
