Feature Description

Mosaic line management is the process of creating, editing, optimizing, etc., the mosaic lines in a mosaic dataset. Therefore, to start this function, you need to first select an existing mosaic dataset, or build a mosaic dataset for the image to be inlaid.

SuperMap ImageX Pro is supported starting from the 2025 version.

Function Entry

• Satellite Image Processing tab -> Mosaic Line group -> Mosaic Line Management.
• Imagery tab -> General Data Processing group -> Mosaic Line Management.

Operation Instructions

1. After clicking the Mosaic Line tab -> DOM Data Production group -> Mosaic Line Management button, the Mosaic Line Management dialog box will pop up.
   Tip:

   If you start mosaic line management from the Image panel -> mosaic dataset -> Mosaic Line context menu -> Edit function entry, you will directly enter the Image Mosaic tab, layer manager, and mosaic line editing window.

2. In the dialog box, enter the following information:
   • Data to be Mosaicked: Manage the data to be mosaicked through the toolbar.
     • Add: Provides four ways to input image data: Add File, Add Folder, Add List, Add Mosaic Data. When selecting Add Folder, all image files in the folder (including subfolders) will be automatically acquired.
     • Select All: Select all records in the list.
     • Select Reverse: Invert the selection of all records in the list.
     • Delete: Delete the selected records from the list.
   • Output Parameters: When the data to be mosaicked is not a mosaic dataset in the current workspace, you need to set the data source and dataset information to create a mosaic dataset for the data to be mosaicked.
3. Click the OK button to pop up the Image Mosaic tab, layer manager, and mosaic line editing window, and enter mosaic line management.
