Rename Dataset

Function Description

The Rename command is used to modify the name of the selected dataset.

After renaming, it automatically updates the dataset name associated with layers in the linked maps, reducing the user's manual effort to modify the map.

Feature Entry

  • Workspace Manager -> Dataset Node Context Menu -> Rename Dataset.
  • Workspace Manager -> Dataset Node -> Shortcut F2.
Note:

Before renaming a dataset, it should be closed. If the layer is open, the system will display a prompt indicating that the dataset must be closed before proceeding.

Refresh Dataset

Function Description

When multiple clients concurrently edit the same dataset, the Refresh function can be used to synchronize the dataset content.

Feature Entry

  • Right-click on a dataset node in Workspace Manager and select the Refresh command from the context menu.
  • Workspace Manager -> Dataset Node Context Menu -> Refresh.
