Packaging and publishing

This section describes how to package and publish a Map. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Before packaging, make sure you open Unreal Engine -> Project Settings -> Project -> Packaging -> Use pak file .
  2. If it is enabled, you need to set Unreal Engine -> Project Settings -> Project -> Packaging -> Advanced -> Additional non-asset directories to copy , create an array element and paste the folder path of AutomaticMatchingMaterials_S3M.json into the index text box.
  3. If it is not open, you need to set Unreal Engine -> Project Settings -> Project -> Packaging -> Advanced -> Additional non-asset directories to copy or additional non-asset directories to package , create an array element and paste the folder path of AutomaticMatchingMaterials_S3M.json into the index text box.
  4. Once setup is complete, package the project according to the Project Packaging Operations Guide.
  5. After packaging is complete, run exe to display the beautification effect.
