On the MapDashboard welcome page in "App Center":

  • Template creating: Select a template and click "Create" to create a dashboard based on the appropriate template. MapDashboard presets multiple sets of industry application templates, including a wide range of fields such as land, transportation, enterprises and so on. Creating based on templates can help you simplify the process of building a dashboard. We recommend you select the template closest to practical application scenarios to create.
  • Blank creating: Select "Create" in "Blank template" to create exclusive dashboard applications from scratch based on a blank canvas.
  • Public dashboard: Select the dashboard application that you and others have shared the "editable" permission to you in SuperMap iPortal and further build your dashboard application.
  • My dashboard: Select the dashboard application you have created before from "My dashboard" and continue to build your dashboard application.

If you want to change the current template in the process of building a dashboard, you can click the "Template" item on the left sidebar to unfold the template selection anytime and select an appropriate template. You can also click the "Application" item on the left sidebar to select from "Public dashboard" or "My dashboard" and switch to the appropriate application. It should be noted that changing current template or switching the dashboard application will result in losing all the current modifications to the dashboard, so please proceed with care.

After creating a dashboard, then you can edit dashboard. If you need many pages, refer to Add dashboard pages. If you only need one page, refer to Add visual components directly.

Note: The number of dashboards you can create is unlimited by default. If your administrator has set a quota, when the number of created dashboards reaches the quota limit, you won't be able to create any longer. At this time, you can contact your administrator to increase the quota, or delete some dashboards to free up quota space.
