Publishing a Model
GPAModelBuilder supports publishing your created models to the server for reuse.
Publishing a Custom Model as a Custom Tool
GPAModelBuilder allows you to save a model as a tool on the server's model list, so you can reuse it repeatedly without having to rebuild it. The steps to publish a model are as follows:
- Click the "Publish" button in the top navigation bar, and set the tool's model group, tool name, and sharing permissions. The tool can be shared with other users, organizations, or departments, allowing them to directly drag and drop it during modeling. Once the model is published to the model list, you can also adjust its sharing settings at any time via the "Share" option in the tool's menu.
- After reviewing the tool information, click "OK" to publish the constructed model as a custom tool.
- After successful addition, the added tool will appear under "Model" or "Shared" in the left sidebar. Drag it onto the canvas to start reusing it. For specific usage, refer to the workflow described earlier.
Note: To ensure tool usage security, a model published as a custom tool must have been successfully run at least once.
Editing Custom Tool Parameters
After publishing a model as a custom tool, you can edit its parameters to make them more intuitive and suitable for the tool's usage scenario. Editing steps are as follows:
- Find the custom tool you want to edit in the "Model" list on the left side of the interface, and select "Edit Parameter" from the tool's right-click menu.
- You can modify the description of the custom tool's parameters or hide some parameters that do not need to be displayed. After editing, click "OK".
- Drag the successfully edited custom tool onto the canvas; you will see the edited tool.
After successful addition, click "Model". The added tool will be displayed under the custom tool list in the tool list. Drag it onto the canvas with the mouse to start reusing it. For specific usage, refer to the previous steps.
Importing and Exporting Models
GPAModelBuilder supports exporting your created models to a local file or importing local models for reuse.
You can click "Export" in the top navigation bar to export the model as a local XML template file. When you need to use or edit it again, click "Import" in the top navigation bar to reload the model onto the canvas.
