SuperMap iPortal mainly contains the following components:
Front-end resource portal
The front-end resource portal integrates maps, services, scenes, data, apps, insights, dashboards, groups resources and allows normal users to search and share these resources, and with "Personal Center", normal users can manage the resources created by themselves.
SuperMap iPortal AI Assistant
SuperMap iPortal AI Assistant shifts from traditional complex menu-driven and graphical interfaces to a simplified, low-barrier Q&A-style interaction. Users can submit requests via natural language interaction, which triggers autonomous invocation of relevant spatial intelligence tools to accomplish complex tasks, delivering an innovative intelligent interactive experience.
DataViz
A built-in Web APP in iPortal. With this app, users can make and collaboratively share map resources.
MapStudio
SuperMap iPortal provides a brand-new online map application WebApp - MapStudio, which supports more flexible map style configuration and helps users create more splendid map applications.
iEarth
A built-in Web APP in iPortal for users to create, save and share 3D scenes and help users with 3D analysis, such as: 3D spatial analysis, measurement, clipping.
MapDashboard
A built-in Web APP in iPortal designed for creating map dashboards visually with clean graphical interface and interactive operations.
DataInsights
SuperMap DataInsights is an extension module provided by SuperMap iPortal, with which users can realize visualization and spatial analysis based on geographic data to solve their business problems, discover analysis model or dig up the value of geographical data.
GPAModelBuilder
SuperMap GPAModelBuilder which can quickly build business process models with simple drag-and-drop methods, helping to automate complex data processing and analysis processes.
iDesigner3D
SuperMap iDesigner3D which is equipped with online rapid modeling and interactive editing capabilities based on real geographic environments, and empowers urban design, digital transportation and other industries.
Back-end management portal
SuperMap iPortal provides a back-end management portal, mainly for administrators to provide the following functions:
- Portal Resource Management: Administrators can centrally manage portal resources such as Maps, Services, Scenes, Data, Projects, Notebooks, Groups, etc. They can also review services registered by ordinary users, one-click batch registration of services, etc.
- Portal Site Configuration: Administrators can configure the portal site according to their own business needs, such as: site customization, service agent configuration, default base map configuration, built-in WebApp configuration, default thumbnail configuration, custom directory configuration.
- Portal Monitoring: Administrators can take a variety of measures to comprehensively monitor the operation of the portal, such as: viewing logs, service access monitoring, multi-GIS server operation monitoring, anomaly monitoring and so on.
- Portal Statistics: The back-end management portal provides a portal statistics Dashboard, which is convenient for administrators to visualize the overall situation of the portal, changes in users, resource usage, etc. at any time.
- Service hosting: The back-end management portal provides the service hosting capability, which supports adding multiple SuperMap iServer server nodes to the portal as hosting servers, making it easy for users to randomly distribute the data uploaded to the portal to these hosted server nodes to publish the services and automatically register them to the iPortal portal.
- User Management: Administrators can centrally manage and configure the built-in account system, such as adding and deleting users, role-based access control, portal organization structure configuration, etc. They can also integrate with third-party account systems to associate with roles within iPortal.
- News Management: The back-end management portal provides news publishing capabilities, supporting online editing and publishing news, which facilitates administrators to communicate information within the portal.
- Feedback Review: Administrators can view, review, and respond to feedback submitted by other users in the portal to better manage the portal through feedback.
Java SDK
SuperMap iPortal is a customizable GIS portal software platform, coming with the SDK (Software Development Kit), you can easily to extend it to meet the specific requirements.
JavaScript SDK
SuperMap iClient JavaScript provides APIs for browsing SuperMap iPortal maps, helping you quickly create a map of iPortal in your Web page. For details, see: Browsing iPortal maps using iClient JavaScript API.
Note: SuperMap iPortal 8C SP1 and later versions support to deploy independently. No SuperMap iServer is included.
