SuperMap iMobile for Android is component-based GIS platform. The development environment of Eclipse for Java can be used for this platform to build mobile GIS applications applied on the Android operating system. Users need to master the basis of Android application development and understand how to build the environment of developing and testing for Android system. The steps for introducing configuration requirements and environment building for Android system are listed below.

Hardware Configuring Requirements

1.Environment Configuring Requirements of PC.

Minimum hardware requirements:

  • CPU: 2GHz processor
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Free disk space: 100 GB

Recommended hardware requirements:

  • CPU: 3GHz processor or faster
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Free disk space: 500 GB

Operating Systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 to 11 Series
  • The Ubuntu series

Minimum hardware requirements:

  • CPU: 1.5 GHz
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Free disk space: 64 GB

Minimum Operating System:

  • Android 4.1 or higher

Recommended hardware requirements:

  • CPU: 2.0 GHz
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Free disk space: 64 GB

Recommended Operating System:

  • Android 8.0 or higher

Harmony system version compatible with Android
