Product Overview
As the GIS management software platform of SuperMap, SuperMap iManager is a comprehensive operation and maintainance center. It could be used for managing application services, infrastructures, and GIS Big Data. Based on Kubernetes platform, the services are deployed by clustering. iManager provides load balancing between the services, and has features of automatic deploy, partial update, automatic extension, dynamic scaling, automatic repair, and health inspection.
Primary features of iManager include:
- Uses microservice framework and containerization technology, encapsulates the modules and functions in the containers, and provides services by running containers.
- Provides multiple GIS environments, supports to ‘one-click’ creating and managing GIS Server, GIS Portal, GIS Desktop, GIS Tiling Cluster, GIS Site, GIS Cloud Suite, GIS Big Data, Spatial Data Secience, and database environment.
- Provides overview charts for viewing the runing status of Kubernetes environments.
- Supports to monitor services in multiple aspects, including the useage of CPU, the useage of memory, the network speed of uploading and downloading, and the useage of disk. The rich monitoring indicators help administrator to grasp the health of iManager and other GIS environments.
- Supports to monitor service flow, manage traffic flow across microservices, enforce policies and aggregate telemetry data.
- Supports to add alarm rules. The alarm messages will be sent to administrator through iManager UI, WeChat Work, and Ding Talk when the running system reaching triggering conditions, it is convenient to track, locate, and solve the errors of monitoring object.
- Provides topological diagrams to view the availablility of the services and the associations between the services in the each GIS environment.
- Supports to customize industry applications. Administrator allows to add industry applications by uploading YAML files on iManager UI, the added applications can be unified management with other GIS applications.
- Provides service and container logs, helps to query the running recording of the service/container.
- Provides safety and stable data storage and management system, the data will be stored in the specified device(built-in NFS) permanently.
