Service Nodes Creation

There are two ways to create a service node in GIS Cloud Suite, one is creating during the service publishing(please refer to the fifth step in Service Management > Service Instances > Publishing Services > Publishing File Workspace; another way is creating on the Service Nodes page, please follow the steps below:

  1. Clicks on Service Management > Service Nodes on the left navigation bar;
    2. \n
  2. Clicks on Create Service Nodes;
    3. \n
  3. Fills in the name of service node;
    4. \n
  4. \n

    Selects the node type;

    The types of service node are divided into mapping node, data node, analysis node, realspace node, tiles node, dataflow node, and gisapplication node. Different types of service instance should be published on the different types of service node, see the table below:

    Notes:

    1. If the datasource are SMTiles File, SVTiles File, UGCV5 Tiles, MongoDB Tiles, GeoPackage File, ZXY Tiles, TPK File, VTPK File, ArcGIS Cache, ArcGIS CacheV2, and 3DTiles Cache, please publish service on the tiles node.
      2. \n
    2. The gisapplication node which is created on Service Nodes page will obtains all the available modules from license center, you can publish different types of service on the gisapplication node. The gisapplication node which is created during service publishing will obtains only one kind of license module from license center, it does not support to publish different types of service.

  5. Clicks on Confirm to finish creating.
