Functions
SuperMap iManager provides the features of intelligent monitoring and alarm for GIS environments, the environments can flexible and scalable clustering. iManager provides a visualized resource management system, supports to create and manage GIS Server, GIS Portal, GIS Deskto, GIS Cloud Suite, GIS Desktop, GIS Big Data, Data Science Service, and Database environment.

Overview | Statistics and displays the machines status of SuperMap iManager, view the real-time useage of CPU, Memory, Filesystem, and Network speed in Kubernetes environment. |
Basic Services | Displays and monitors basic services, grasps the health of iManager by charts and data. Monitoring the real-time CPU useage, Memory useage, Network speed, andFilesystem useage of basic services. Allows to redeploy the problem services(containers), or manual investigate by checking the logs. All the containers have host machine IP and container IP. |
GIS Server | Supports to 'one-click' creating GIS Server environment, and manage the environment. Monitoring the real-time CPU useage, Memory useage, Network speed, and Filesystem useage of the services(containers). Monitoring the traffic flow, to achieve service tracing, service metric, and access control. Allows to manage the services, such as modify image and adjust services spec. Allows to enter the log and command pad, views the host machine IP and container IP, and scaling the service nodes. Users can understand the associations between services by the topological diagram. |

GIS Tiling Cluster | Supports to 'one-click' creating a intelligent cluster with multiple nodes, the scale of the cluster can be elastic scaling by the CPU useage and Memory useage. Database | Supports to 'one-click' creating Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and Elasticsearch database environment. Monitoring the traffic flow, to achieve service tracing, service metric, and access control. Allows to manage the services, such as modify image and adjust services spec. Storage | iManager use Network Files System as the default storage device, the data will be stored in NFS permanently. Users can add their own NFS, bind or unbind existing NFS. |
URL Monitoring | SuperMap iManager supports to monitor URL. Administrator can set the expected status code and assertion, if the returned responses are not matching with the expection, the system wwill send the alarm messages to the administor. Administrator can add any URLs to the monitoring list, such as the URL of service instance and the URL of GIS Site. And also set the trigging condition of service restarting, when the response is not matching the expection, restarting the associated service. |
Database Monitoring | SuperMap iManager supports to monitor database, the status of added database can be detected, system will send alert message when the database is abnormal. The types of database can be added are including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB(Advanced RISC Machine only supports to add MySQL and MongoDB). Administrator allows to add any database to the monitoring list, such as the database created by iManager and local database. The system will create exporters when you add the database, a exporter is just like an agent, it is used for monitoring the connections, status, and others indicators of database. |
Alarm Service | Alarm rule function allows to set triggering conditions for services, the system would send alarm messages to administrator by UI, WeChat Work, or Ding Talk. Alarm history function provides alarm records. |
Configuration | Supports to view the configuration of Kubernetes platform. Supports to modify the registry address. Supports to view the configuration of WecChat Work and Ding Talk. |
Site Customization | Supports to upload customized YAML files by UI, customizes application environment and menu. To achieve the purpose of unified monitoring and maintainance the GIS applications and industry applications. |
Security | As the account management center of iManager, Keycloak ensures the safety of account information, and realizes the accounts to unified management. Users function supports to add/delete the accounts, reset password, and associate roles. Roles function can add and delete roles. |
Statistical Report | iManager supports to generate statistical report. The statistical report is an Excel file, there are 7 sheets in the report, they are Report Param, Appset, CPU Useage Max Top, Memory Useage Max Top, Service Restart, Alert History, and User Operator. The report records all the events in the selected period, you can check the event details of applications and users, it is helpful for reviewing, summarizing, and reporting. |
License Management | The page of License can view the current license information. SuperMap License Center can activate the iManager official license, and manage the license of other SuperMap Products. |
Service Mesh | iManager uses Istio platform to integrate microservices, manage traffic flow across microservices, enforce policies and aggregate telemetry data. Istio provides the functions of Gray Release, Access Control, Service Metrics, and Service Trace. |
Notes:
SuperMap iManager ARM package does not support to create Data Science Service and Geo-Blockchain. GIS Cloud Suite does not support Machine Learning Service.
