When Symbolization Style Settings is performed on a layer, after the Selector is opened, the Selector loads the symbol library saved in Workspace by default, and when symbols saved in other symbol library files need to be selected, The symbol library loaded by default by the Selector can be switched through the Open Marker Symbol Library File under the File menu in the Selector, that is, the current symbol library is closed, and then a new symbol library selected is opened, which increases the complexity of the operation to some extent.
The Selector provides the function of "loading more symbol libraries", which can simplify the above usage scenario, that is, in the Selector, one or more other symbol libraries can be opened at the same time without closing the symbol libraries saved in Workspace loaded by default by the Selector, which is convenient for users to select symbols widely.

How to load more symbol libraries
The following describes how to load more symbol libraries by taking loading other Marker Symbol Library in point Select as an example. The same is true for loading more symbol libraries in Line Symbol Selector and Fill Symbol Selector.
- Click the Load Symbol Library button as shown in the following figure;
- Open the Open dialog box, select the symbol library file to be loaded and open it;
Marker Symbol Library files have a *.sym extension; Line Symbol Library files have a *.lsl extension; and Fill Symbol Library files have a *.bru extension.
- As shown in the following figure, click the loaded symbol library, and the right area of the Selector will display the contents of the loaded symbol library.
Next, you can select and use symbol resources from the loaded external symbol library.
As shown in the following figure, right-click the loaded symbol library to open the Context Menu, where:
- Close Symbol Library: Used to "unload" the loaded symbol library, that is, to remove the loaded symbol library from the Selector.
- Attribute: Open the "Attribute" dialog box to set the loaded symbol library, such as changing the loaded symbol library file, changing the Show Name of the loaded symbol library, and changing the display icon of the loaded symbol library.
Remarks:
- In Select, only the symbol library of Workspace can be further edited in the Selector. The symbols in the loaded symbol library can only be browsed and applied, and cannot be edited.
- More symbol libraries loaded in the Selector are not saved in the Workspace. Therefore, the user's action to load a symbol library in the Selector is independent of whether the Workspace is saved.
- Symbols When you symbolize a map, and you select a symbol from more of the loaded symbol libraries than one in Workspace, the symbol is automatically copied to the symbol library in Workspace. The representation is to create a symbol group with the same name as the loaded symbol library Show Name under the root group of the symbol library in Workspace, and then copy the used symbols under the symbol group.
- When many symbol libraries are loaded in the selector, the left area of the selector (as shown in the following figure) cannot completely display the Show Name tabs of all the loaded symbol libraries. The symbol library tab is displayed at the top of all tabs.
- The same symbol library file can only be loaded once. If the loaded symbol library file is loaded again, the prompt box shown below will be displayed. After the prompt box is closed, the loaded symbol library tab will be displayed at the front of all tabs.
