In the Marker Symbol Editor, after completing point symbol editing and creation, you can click the OK button to save the work results as a point symbol in the current Marker Symbol Library. However, to permanently save created or edited line symbols, you need to save the current Marker Symbol Library through either of the following methods:

• If the current symbol library is the Marker Symbol Library in the resource collection of the workspace, you can save it by saving the workspace;
• By exporting the current Marker Symbol Library from the Marker Symbol Selector as a marker symbol library file. The library can then be retrieved later by loading this file.
