In the Linear Symbol Editor, edit and create the line symbol. After the operation, click the OK button on the Linear Symbol Editor to save the work result as a line symbol and save it in the current Line Symbol Library. However, to finally save the created or edited linetype symbols, you also need to save the current Line Symbol Library. There are two ways to save the Line Symbol Library:

• If the current symbol library is the Line Symbol Library in the resource set of Workspace, you can save the Line Symbol Library by saving the Workspace;
• You can save the Line Symbol Library to a Line Symbol Library file by exporting the current Line Symbol Library in the Line Symbol Selector to a Line Symbol Library file. Subsequently, the corresponding work product can be obtained by loading the Line Symbol Library file.
