Merge Model
Instructions for use
Merge Model includes merging multiple objects and merging children of the model. When the BIM model is built, the BIMMerge Model is regarded as a model, which effectively avoids the unintentional modification of the size in the operation process and reduces the quality and efficiency of the BIM model.
Operation steps
- Right-click Datasource in Workspace Manager and select Open File Datasource "to open the Datasource containing the BIMModel Dataest.
- Select Model Dataest, right-click the Add to New Spherical Scene ", select the model layer in Layer Manager, and right-click the Jump to Layer".
- Click the Model Edit Drop-down Button in the Model Operation group of the 3D Geographic Design tab and select Merge Model "from the drop-down menu. The Merge Model "dialog box pops up, as shown in the following figure:
- Source data:
- Object layer Determines the Model object for the merge. Click the drop-down arrow of the Model Layer combo box to select the layer on which to Merge Model.
- All Objects: All Model Objects in this layer participate in the Merge Model operation.
- Select Object: In this layer, only the selected Model Object participates in the Merge Model operation. Check this option to ensure that a Model Object has been selected in the scene. Left Mouse + Shift allows you to select multiple Model Objects in the scene.
- Parameter Settings: single-select Merge Model mode, including Compose as one object and Compose SubObject.
- Compose as one object: Combine the Operation objects into one object.
- Compose SubObject: merges the child objects of the Operation object.
- Set Result Data Storage Parameters, including Datasource selection and Dataset naming.
- Datasource: Datasource designation stored by the resulting model after the Merge Model. Mouse click the drop-down arrow of the Data source combo box to select.
- Dataset: The name of the Result Dataset. The default is Model ComposeResult. The Dataset Name can be customized.
- Click the Save button to complete the Merge Model operation.
