Select the 3D line layer as the current layer in Layer Manager, and the setting options for special effects will appear in the Layer Properties "interface. First, you need to check the Use Effect check box to activate the special effect setting controls, including the function controls of Property Settings such as the line type, break line, border line, and fluorescent line of the 3D line layer.

Linetype settings
- Type: Click the Drop-down Button of the combo box on the right side of the type, and select a type from the pop-up display list, including normal line, with arrow, discontinuous line, border line, fluorescent line, discontinuous line (with arrow), and fluorescent line (with arrow).
- Line Color: Click the Drop-down Button of the combo box on the right side of the line color, and select a color in the pop-up color panel, then the pixel of the 3D line will be displayed as the specified color.
- Line Transparency: Click the right arrow on the right side of the line transparency to pop up the slider. Slide the slider to adjust the transparency value, or directly enter the desired transparency value.
- Line Width: Adjust the line width by the up and down arrows on the right side of the line width, or directly input the line width value.
Dash Line Setting
When Line Style is a break line or a break line (with an arrow), the controls in the Dash Line Setting group are available, including setting the color, transparency, length, and template of the break line.
- Break line color: Click the Drop-down Button of the combo box on the right side of the line color, and select a color in the pop-up color panel, then the pixel of the break line will be displayed as the specified color.
- Discontinuous line transparency: Click the right arrow on the right side of the discontinuous line transparency to pop up the slider. Slide the slider to adjust the transparency value, or directly enter the desired transparency value.
- Break line length: Adjust the break line length through the up and down arrows on the right side of the break line length, or directly input the break line length value.
- Break line template: Click the rightward arrow on the right side of the break line template to pop up a slider. Slide the slider to adjust the value of the break line template. You can also directly input the value of the break line template. Each value corresponds to a template.
OutLine Setting
When Line Style is a border line or a border line (with an arrow), the controls in the OutLine Setting group are available, including setting the color, width, and transparency of the border line.
- Border Line Color: Click the Drop-down Button of the combo box on the right side of Border Line Color, and select a color in the pop-up color panel, then the pixel of the border line will be displayed as the specified color.
- Border line width: Adjust the border line width through the up and down arrows on the right side of the border line length, or directly enter the border line width value.
- Border line transparency: Click the right arrow on the right side of the border line transparency to pop up the slider. Slide the slider to adjust the transparency value, or directly enter the desired transparency value.
Glow Line Setting
When the Line Style is a fluorescent line or a fluorescent line (with arrows), the controls in the Glow Line Setting group are available, providing settings for the luminous intensity.
- Luminous intensity: Adjust the luminous intensity value through the up and down arrows on the right side of the luminous intensity, or directly input the luminous intensity value.
Check box flow settings
The Flow check box is available only when Line Style is a break line or a break line (with an arrow). When the Flow check box is checked, the break line takes on a flow effect.
