The following checks and processing are required before Texture Map:
- The size of the texture is required to be 2 to the power of N, and the minimum is not less than 2 * 2 pixels, and the maximum is not more than 1024 * 1024 pixels.
- Invalid areas and invalid information should not appear in the map, as shown in the following figure:
- Maps with radians and angles that are not correct should not appear in the map, as shown in the following figure:
- Texture seams should not appear in the map, as shown in the following illustration:
- Do not repeat texture maps. For example, for a 10-layer building map, it is better to repeat a 1-layer map 10 times, or a 2-layer map 5 times, as shown in the following figure:
- The color and brightness of the map should be adjusted to the appropriate state to ensure the clarity and layering of the map, as shown in the following figure:
- Minimize the use of transparency maps.
- Use a map to assign a material instead of using a map color to assign a material.
